Cris Jomar Pataras Cabilin

I am a licensed Architect and Master Plumber with a strong foundation in design, construction, and project management. My journey began at Saint Louis University (SLU) Baguio, where I graduated in 2017 while balancing my academic studies as a Library Working Scholar (LWS) at the SLU-Libraries. This experience instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, work ethic, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

After completing my apprenticeship in various architectural firms, I became a Registered and Licensed Architect (RLA) and a Registered Master Plumber (RMP) in 2019. Since then, I have worked with a range of companies and government agencies throughout the Philippines, taking on roles such as Project Architect, Site Supervisor, and Project-In-Charge. These diverse experiences have deepened my expertise in both design and construction, equipping me with the skills to craft solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and the specific needs of each project—whether residential, commercial, or institutional.

I am passionate about creating spaces that not only look beautiful but are also practical and user-centered. My approach to design is rooted in thoughtful, purposeful solutions that enhance the daily lives of the people who occupy them.

To further expand my impact and knowledge, I completed the Certified Heritage Sites and Building Conservation Specialist Course, enriching my capability to contribute meaningfully to the preservation and adaptive reuse of historically significant structures.

In addition to my work in architecture, I serve as a Philippine Navy Reservist, an experience that has strengthened my discipline, leadership, and problem-solving skills. I am also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Construction Management through the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Open University (PUPOU), ensuring that I stay aligned with evolving industry standards and continuously grow as a professional.
